Reincarnation

Reincarnation is a natural part of soul’s existence. It is a situation through which soul is able to fulfill its natural purpose which is to live life. Because soul is a part of the Creator, it is by this very nature immortal. Because the journey of soul is to fulfill its destiny, which is to return to the Creator, it seeks to experience all the life it can. Due to the limited life span of the physical body, soul requires many, many lifetimes to experience just what Earth has to offer.

Karma and reincarnation often go hand and hand, as karma tends to provide the purpose for each life. Reincarnation provides soul with the opportunity to see life from multiple points of view. It would not be unusual for soul to have lived many thousands of lives in the physical universe. While life on Earth has its attractions, there are many opportunities awaiting soul throughout the planes of duality.

When the present body ceases to function, soul finds itself moving out of the physical realm into the Astral Plane. This is where it continues its life experience until it is ready to return if necessary into the Physical Plane.

While on the Astral Plane, soul may find many of the same souls it has experienced lives with on the Physical Plane. This is known as a group consciousness. These souls often reincarnate into the same family groups as it is easier to experience life with souls with whom it has familiarity.

One of the main purposes of reincarnation is for soul to have all of the experiences necessary to mature itself beyond the planes of duality. This includes incarnating into the Astral, Causal, and Mental Planes. Each plane has its own body suited to the nature of the specific plane soul is experiencing. It is not unusual for soul to learn from each of these panes in simultaneous order.
